You’ve wandered into the topsy-turvy world of Tulgey Wood, the blog of writer and historian Jim Fanning. Tulgey Wood celebrates artistry and creativity (and sometimes just plain madness): movies, animation, TV, books, comics—and of course Disney, lots and lots of true-blue, through-and-through Disney, including D23 and Disney twenty-three Magazine, and Sketches Magazine and the Walt Disney Collectors Society. Tulgey Wood is so fun, fascinating and full of frolicsome photos and facts, it’s scary. So wander through the wonder of it all, and enjoy.

Halloween and Harvest Time Fun To Be Had

In the long history of Disney comic books Halloween has been a favorite topic. In 1991, Autumn Adventures #2 was published. (For the insatiably curious, there was a #1 but no issue # 2.) The elaborate wraparound cover, drawn by Rick Hoover, offers not only a collection of Disney characters from Mickey and Donald to Super Goof, the Three Little Pigs and the Gummi Bears, but also lots of Halloween and harvest time fun. Enjoy poring over the details as we continue our Countdown to Halloween 2018.
