You’ve wandered into the topsy-turvy world of Tulgey Wood, the blog of writer and historian Jim Fanning. Tulgey Wood celebrates artistry and creativity (and sometimes just plain madness): movies, animation, TV, books, comics—and of course Disney, lots and lots of true-blue, through-and-through Disney, including D23 and Disney twenty-three Magazine, and Sketches Magazine and the Walt Disney Collectors Society. Tulgey Wood is so fun, fascinating and full of frolicsome photos and facts, it’s scary. So wander through the wonder of it all, and enjoy.

Bottled-Up Spirits

Speaking of the Haunted Mansion (see yesterday's post), these Host A Ghost Spirit Jars  were issued last year for the 50th anniversary of the classic attraction's debut in 1969. (Spoiler alert: these stylish collectables are still available at ShopDisney.) Part of the Haunted Mansion ''Relics From Regions Beyond'' Collection, these translucent bottles (packaged in a premium presentation box with satin interior and ribbon) each contain an illuminated Haunted Mansion character, conjured up by Madame Leota. The apothecary jars  shown here are from the collections of Disney enthusiasts Dean Brinkerhoff and Kaylee Holt, who also took these photos. Many thanks for these extra-special Countdown to Halloween treats.
