On the D23 website, Disney archivist Rob Klein has written about the unique costume (complete with rocket back) worn by Bill Campbell in the terrific 1991 Disney film (the original poster is pictured at left), and tells you how you can see some great photographs of this amazing movie artifact (only for the next month or so, so don't delay). Wish I could be there to see it, The Rocketeer is one of my favorite movies, and the poster is top of my list as well...after Alice of course ;)
Great! I'm always happy to see The Rocketeer get some deserved attention - I have the poster from the film hanging here in my office, and a little Kubrick Rocketeer from Japan standing on my PC. Now if I could just talk them into building a Rocketeer ride at the Studios park :)
If you're going to the San Diego Comic Con, you'll get to see the Rocketeer costume in person (as Rob's article points out). It's definitely one of the coolest movie costumes I've seen in person.
