You’ve wandered into the topsy-turvy world of Tulgey Wood, the blog of writer and historian Jim Fanning. Tulgey Wood celebrates artistry and creativity (and sometimes just plain madness): movies, animation, TV, books, comics—and of course Disney, lots and lots of true-blue, through-and-through Disney, including D23 and Disney twenty-three Magazine, and Sketches Magazine and the Walt Disney Collectors Society. Tulgey Wood is so fun, fascinating and full of frolicsome photos and facts, it’s scary. So wander through the wonder of it all, and enjoy.

It's Christmas in July...in August!

It may be August 1, but here in Tulgey Wood it's still July? Why? Because my entry in the Christmas in July celebration is now live at the excellent Christmas TV History site. One of the best things about such a web celebration is the chance to discover not only holiday shows, specials and films but also the chance to discover other blogs and websites one may not have otherwise known about.  This online party is lots of fun so be sure and stop by and leave some comments with your own thoughts and favorites.  The overall recap is here and my own post—featuring everyone from the Grinch and Auntie Mame to Mister Magoo and Lucy and Viv—is here. Many thanks to webmaster and Christmas in July Kris Kringle Joanna Wilson for adding my post even though it was received after July 31. And also be sure and stop by here in Tulgey Wood in December for our yearly Yuletide holiday high jinx.
