You’ve wandered into the topsy-turvy world of Tulgey Wood, the blog of writer and historian Jim Fanning. Tulgey Wood celebrates artistry and creativity (and sometimes just plain madness): movies, animation, TV, books, comics—and of course Disney, lots and lots of true-blue, through-and-through Disney, including D23 and Disney twenty-three Magazine, and Sketches Magazine and the Walt Disney Collectors Society. Tulgey Wood is so fun, fascinating and full of frolicsome photos and facts, it’s scary. So wander through the wonder of it all, and enjoy.

The Munsters Made Much Memorabilia

Both of those 1960s monster TV series, The Munsters and The Addams Family, inspired much merchandise. The Munsters seemed to our distant its competitor–not surprising really, considering that the monster family residing at 1313 Mockingbird Lane seemed more down-home and heartwarming than the family created by cartoonist Charles Addams. Here is the Munsters sticker fun book published under the Whitman imprint, its front and back painterly covers two more fine examples of the quality memorabilia issued by Western Publishing. Today's monstrously fun post is part of the Countdown to Halloween 2016 blogathon. Head back here all through October for more Halloween treats. Mask and costume not required.
